I work as a Software Engineer at Indus Valley Labs, building Java and Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL-backed application logic.
Most of my recent work has been around API design, persistence layers, failure handling, query behavior, and making systems easier to maintain as they grow.
I study computer science while building, and I document what I learn through technical writing and open-source contributions.

Beyond code
I’m based in Karachi, Pakistan, studying computer science while working as a Software Engineer. Outside of work and coursework, I enjoy reading about software architecture and systems, digging into how the JVM actually works, and occasionally breaking things in a local dev environment to understand why they break. I use AI tools as a learning and development aid, but I try to make sure I understand what the code is doing rather than just shipping whatever it produces.
